Decision evidence check

4 of 5 core facts stated

This checks whether the listing states the facts that commonly change an employment decision. It measures disclosure completeness, not whether the opportunity is good or bad.

Facts already stated

  • Compensation
  • Work arrangement
  • Location eligibility
  • Employment type

What to verify next

  • Application closing time: Is there a firm application deadline, a rolling review window or no stated closing date?

Unknown information is never converted into a negative score. The questions above exist to prevent missing evidence from being mistaken for a favorable term.

Decision levers

What could make or break the fit?

Reasons to look closer

Nothing stands out strongly enough yet to call a clear advantage. The role may still be attractive for reasons the listing does not spell out.

Trade-offs to weigh

  • Location rules could change the fit: Geographic eligibility is restricted to a country or region.
  • The application route has several visible steps: 4 application steps are stated in the listing.

Questions worth asking before you invest more time

  • Confirm whether a degree is actually required, preferred, or replaceable with equivalent experience.
  • Confirm the actual minimum experience requirement rather than assuming preferred background is mandatory.
  • Ask whether visa sponsorship is available before investing significant time in the application.

These questions come from details the listing leaves open. An unanswered point is not treated as a disadvantage.

Role market context

How much current choice is visible around this kind of work?

This compares the vacancy with current High Paid Job inventory in the broad Marketing roles family. It describes visible choice and disclosure, not future demand or career quality.

This describes current visible High Paid Job inventory in the same broad occupation family. Percentages use a bounded recent sample and are not a forecast, a complete labor-market census or an employer-quality measure.

Constraint opportunity lab

What changes the size of the current opportunity pool?

Each line applies one stricter evidence-based constraint to the same bounded current role-family sample. It helps you see the trade-off in visible choice without deciding which trade-off is right for you.

Require explicit sponsorship or relocation support 0 / 200 0%

Counts only affirmative or possible sponsorship evidence, or relocation explicitly offered. Unknown is not treated as no.

Require worldwide remote evidence 25 / 200 13%

A much stricter subset: only listings with explicit worldwide-remote evidence remain.

Require usable compensation disclosure 40 / 200 20%

Requires amount, explicit ISO currency and a supported pay period. Missing pay evidence remains unknown.

Require at least four Core Decision Facts 50 / 200 25%

Shows the subset with enough stated evidence for a more informed first comparison.

Require a remote-listed arrangement 65 / 200 33%

Counts roles explicitly classified as worldwide remote, region-restricted remote or remote with restrictions still unclear.

Stay in the same stated country 20 / 50 40%

Uses only roles where a country is known. Roles without country evidence are excluded from this denominator.

Keep this advertised salary floor in the same currency 12 / 23 52%

Only same-currency opportunities with usable annualized pay enter this comparison. Other currencies are not converted or treated as lower.

Stay around the same seniority band 137 / 200 69%

Includes roles whose seniority is genuinely unspecified rather than assuming they belong to another level.

These are counterfactual filters over a bounded sample of current HPJ inventory in the same broad occupation family. They show how visible choice changes when one evidence-based constraint is applied; they do not tell you which constraint you should choose or predict hiring outcomes. The calculation uses the 200 most recent current roles from 1107 visible roles in this broad family.

Salary transparency context

Is pay disclosure typical for this kind of role?

This listing states usable structured compensation. About 20% of the bounded current role sample does the same.

This listingUsable pay stated

Compensation counts only when amount, ISO currency and supported pay period are all known.

Current same-role sample20%

Pay disclosure is uncommon in the current role sample.

Current employer pattern41%

This employer’s current visible listings disclose pay materially more often than the current same-role sample.

This compares salary-disclosure behavior in current visible listings. It does not compare raw salary amounts across currencies, infer undisclosed pay as zero, or rate employer quality.

These skills belong to one reference occupation selected for HPJ’s broad career family, not a verified classification of this vacancy. Skill bridge

What does this role connect to?

SEO is one of the signals this listing shares with skills appearing often across current Marketing roles opportunities.

Skills named in this listing

SEO

Shared with the current career sample

  • SEO Seen in 29 sampled listings

Application edge

  • If these skills match your background, prepare one concrete example that shows how you used SEO rather than relying on a keyword-only claim.
  • The listing mentions extra application steps. Review those requirements before starting so you can prepare the requested material in one pass.

If the named skills are genuinely transferable in your own experience, the occupation map also points to adjacent current families worth researching: Sales roles, Product roles, and Design roles. This is exploration context, not a qualification match.

Skill signals come from explicit text mentions. A mention is not automatically a requirement, and absence from the current top-skill list does not make a skill rare or unimportant. The current career comparison draws on 120 sampled listings; 86 contain a recognized skill signal.

Decision analysis

What the listing really tells you

Useful decision context

The headline alone does not tell the whole story for Content Marketing Lead, Insights at TRM Labs. The clearest decision context comes from the advertised pay can be placed in context, the location rules are clear enough to judge, and the visible application effort can be estimated.

The advertised pay can be placed in context

The annualized midpoint sits near the 41th percentile within 34 comparable USD salary observations. Treat that as current advertised-pay context rather than a forecast of take-home or total compensation.

The location rules are clear enough to judge

The work-location pattern is “Remote with some uncertainty or restrictions”, with Remote Freedom at 66/100. The most important location constraint is geographic eligibility is restricted to a country or region..

The visible application effort can be estimated

Provider-mediated application path · 4 visible process steps. The external application may contain additional steps that are not visible from the listing itself.

The listing can be traced to a current source

1 recent enabled source can currently renew this vacancy across 1 source classes. That improves traceability, although it does not verify the employer itself.

There is no universal opportunity score because pay, flexibility and access matter differently to different people. Compare Jobs lets you weight the evidence around your own priorities.

Decision checklist

What is supported, uncertain or worth checking?

This checklist separates supported strengths, visible cautions and missing evidence. It is not an overall recommendation or guarantee that the job is suitable for you.

Supported strengths

No standout strength is supported strongly enough to list here. That is not a negative rating.

Visible cautions

  • Geographic eligibility is restricted to a country or region.
  • This is remote work with a geographic restriction, not a worldwide-remote vacancy.

Still unknown

  • Visa sponsorship is not established by the available listing data.

Qualifications & access

What qualifications are explicitly stated?

Entry-barrier evidence limited

EducationEducation requirement not established
Required experience evidenceExperience requirement not established
Explicit required barriers0
Explicit access signals0

Qualification signals come from explicit listing wording. Anything not mentioned remains unknown, so silence is never treated as proof that a degree, experience, licence or other requirement is unnecessary.

Pay vs. barriers

Pay and barrier context available

The current pay position can be viewed alongside the stated barriers, but the available detail does not support a stronger conclusion.

Current-sample pay position

Comparable disclosed-pay evidence places this job at about 41 / 100 within its current occupation/seniority sample.

Location-freedom constraints

1 explicit Remote Freedom restriction signal is present and is shown separately from qualification requirements.

Evidence gaps that could change this interpretation
  • Education requirement is not established.
  • Required prior-experience level is not established.

This section weighs pay context against clearly stated barriers without collapsing unlike requirements into one universal score. Degree, experience, licensing, clearance and location limits remain separate, and missing qualification details stay unknown.

Beyond the headline

Not enough evidence for a hidden-value finding

Potential hidden value appears only when several distinct non-pay advantages are actually supported. Missing requirements or benefits are never counted as positives.

Still check: The current application path is provider-mediated rather than directly classified as an employer-authorized or official route.

Hidden Value is an experimental evidence summary, not an investment-style score or guarantee of employability. It only uses explicit current listing evidence and does not infer that an unmentioned qualification is unnecessary.

Questions worth asking this employer

  • What compensation range applies to this role, and which parts of total compensation are fixed versus variable?
  • If work authorization matters to you, what sponsorship policy applies to this specific role and location?
  • If a move is required, is relocation assistance available for this position?
  • What is the expected application and interview timeline if the listing does not state a closing date?

These questions are prompted by missing or thin evidence in the employer’s current visible vacancies. Missing evidence is not treated as a negative judgement.

This employer snapshot uses the employer’s current visible listings. Remote and sponsorship rates use only vacancies with explicit evidence, while missing information stays unknown. Salary medians are shown separately by currency and need at least five disclosed salaries. Work-location intelligence

Remote Freedom

66/100

Remote with some uncertainty or restrictions

66%

Why this score?

  • The role is remote but the source identifies a country or regional restriction.

Location restrictions detected

  • Geographic eligibility is restricted to a country or region.

Flexibility signals detected

  • The description indicates scheduling flexibility that can support location independence.

Remote Freedom measures observable location flexibility only. Unknown work-location information remains unscored. Timezone wording is penalized only when it appears restrictive; general collaboration across time zones is not treated as a restriction. A score does not guarantee legal work eligibility, payroll availability or visa sponsorship.

Tradeoff check

What’s the catch?

These are visible conditions worth checking before treating the headline compensation as the whole story:

  • This is remote work with a geographic restriction, not a worldwide-remote vacancy.

Current alternatives

Better-paying alternatives

These current roles show a materially higher annualized salary midpoint in the same broad occupation and currency. Similar seniority, country, work arrangement, employment type and recency are preferred where possible; higher pay alone does not make an alternative a better fit.

Application-path intelligence

What can we see about the application process?

Provider-mediated application path

The current application path comes through a publisher or aggregator. The destination may still lead to an employer-authorized hiring system, but that is not clear enough to assume.

Current destination: jobicy.com · HTTPS

Visible application steps or requirements

  • An assessment, test or work-sample step is explicitly mentioned.
  • A portfolio or work sample is explicitly mentioned.
  • Professional references are explicitly mentioned.
  • A case study, presentation or case-style exercise is explicitly mentioned.

Application effort is estimated from visible listing and source details. Optional steps are kept separate from mandatory ones, and the external form may contain additional requirements that are not visible here.

Application safety context

Application safety check

Basic application-safety context available

The current application destination has a basic transport-safety signal such as HTTPS. This does not verify the employer, vacancy, recruiter or application process.

Evidence checked: Source provenance · Application destination · Listing wording

Observable transport-safety signals

  • The available application destination uses HTTPS.
Before you share money or sensitive information
  • Confirm the vacancy on the employer’s official careers site when practical, especially if a recruiter contacts you outside the listed application path.
  • Check that recruiter email domains and application destinations are consistent with the employer or an identifiable recruiting provider.
  • Do not pay application, processing, training or equipment fees merely to be considered for a job.
  • Do not send cryptocurrency, gift cards, online-banking credentials or PINs as part of an application.
  • Treat unusually fast offers or interviews conducted only through informal messaging channels as reasons to verify the employer independently.

This is a limited safety screen, not employer verification and not a fraud determination. Never send money, cryptocurrency, passwords or sensitive banking credentials merely because a listing appears on a job platform.

Build a Safer World.

TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. TRM's platforms enable investigators to trace illicit activity, build cases, and construct operating pictures of threat networks. Leading agencies and businesses worldwide rely on TRM to make the world safer and more secure.

TRM Labs is building the content engine that makes the market see TRM as the authority on crypto crime and financial-crime intelligence. As Content Marketing Lead for Research & Insights, you will turn the work of our Insights team into reports, articles, and campaigns that customers, journalists, and the wider crime-fighting community read, cite, and act on. You will own a proactive plan for which research stories TRM tells, when, and for whom, and make sure each one reaches the right audience.

The impact you will have:

  • Set the research content agenda. Build and own a proactive editorial plan with the Insights team that decides which findings become flagship reports, blog posts, social content, or media pitches, using AI to scan the research pipeline and surface the stories worth telling.

  • Turn research into a content engine. Carry findings from concept to published, distributed content and handle roughly 1 to 3 pieces a week, using AI workflows across review, drafting, and repurposing so quality holds as volume grows.

  • Decide the argument, then let AI accelerate production. Shape and pressure-test each narrative and its data yourself, then use AI to draft variants, headlines, and channel-specific cuts so more of your time goes to judgment and less to production.

  • Own distribution for everything you produce. Plan how each piece reaches its audience before it publishes, push it across owned, paid, and earned channels, and use AI to tailor it for social, the newsletter, and executive voice.

  • Grow TRM's search and AI-citation visibility. Produce the content that makes TRM the cited authority on priority themes, and use SEO and GEO tooling to find gaps and measure what moves.

  • Support media outreach. Work alongside TRM's head of Comms on journalist outreach for research releases, feed what you learn from coverage back into the content plan, and tune what works for the next release.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of B2B content marketing, editorial, or research-communications experience, with a portfolio of data- or research-based point-of-view work.

  • An AI-native approach: you use AI across research review, drafting, repurposing, and optimization, and you build workflows others can reuse.

  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to strengthen complex, technical narratives without sacrificing accuracy, including when AI produced the first draft.

  • Experience owning a piece end to end, from concept through publication and distribution, and proactively planning content rather than only fulfilling requests.

  • A distribution mindset, with comfort using AI and analytics to measure and improve how content performs.

  • The ability to translate technical, data-driven material into clear, engaging content, using AI to adapt tone and format for different audiences.

About the Team:

  • You will join Content & Brand Marketing within GTM Marketing, working hand in hand with the Insights team in Primary Intelligence and with Demand Gen and Comms.

  • The work is dedicated to data and research-based storytelling: TRM's credibility depends on the market seeing our intelligence and domain expertise, and this role scales that output.

  • It is a small, senior, AI-native team that expects ownership, pace, and strong judgment, and gives you real latitude to decide what TRM should be known for.

Team Operating Rhythms:

  • Distributed, not distant: the team works across the US and Europe/UK and keeps collaboration-hours overlap so ideas move quickly.

  • Async-first communication with regular syncs; the editorial calendar is the team's shared source of truth.

  • Close, continuous partnership with researchers, Demand Gen, and Comms rather than handoffs.

  • AI is part of the daily workflow, not an afterthought.

Required online and collaboration hours:

  • Schedule: Overlap with US-based team collaboration hours; specific hours confirmed at offer.

Travel Requirements:

  • Schedule: Minimal; occasional team or event travel.

  • Frequency: Occasional.

Onsite Requirements:

  • Schedule: None; fully remote.

Life at TRM

We are building a safer world. That promise shows up in how we work every day.

TRM moves FAST. We are a high-velocity, high-ownership team that expects clarity, follow-through, and impact. People who thrive here are energized by hard problems, experimentation, and continuous feedback. If something takes months elsewhere, it will ship here in days.

Our work sits at the intersection of AI, national security, and fighting crime. The problems are complex, the stakes are real, and the environment evolves quickly. The pace and intensity of the work reflect the importance of the mission. As a result, the way we operate requires a high level of ownership, adaptability, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.

At TRM, you should expect:

  • Priorities and targets to change quickly

  • Operating with a high degree of ambiguity

  • A high level of personal ownership and accountability

  • Close collaboration across teams and functions

  • Frequent, high-touch communication

  • Creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking

  • A pace that rewards urgency, adaptability, and outcomes

This environment is energizing for people who enjoy building, solving hard problems, and making progress in situations that are not always fully defined. It also requires thriving in ambiguity, adjusting course as new information emerges, and maintaining focus and positivity in a fast-moving and intense environment.

We also recognize that this style of operating is not for everyone. If you are primarily optimizing for predictability or a consistently balanced workload, we encourage you to use the interview process to pressure-test whether this environment is truly the right fit. We want teammates who thrive here, not just survive here.

If you are excited by meaningful problems, motivated by ambitious goals, and energized by working alongside mission-driven colleagues, there is a good chance you will find TRM to be an exceptional place to grow and contribute.

Leadership Principles

We hire and grow against three leadership principles. They’re the standards for how we operate, treat each other, and make decisions.

  • Impact-Oriented Trailblazer: We put customers first and move with speed, focus, and adaptability. We treat every plan like an experiment – test, ship, measure, and iterate quickly.

  • Master Craftsperson: We care deeply about our craft. We balance speed with high standards, own outcomes end‑to‑end, and invest in getting better everyday.

  • Inspiring Colleague: We add clarity and energy, not noise. We bring humility, candor, and a one‑team mindset — giving and receiving feedback to make the team stronger.

Join our Mission

At TRM, we care deeply about our craft. We are looking for individuals who want their work to matter, who experiment with speed and rigor, and who take pride in building a safer world for billions of people. If you’re excited by TRM’s mission but don’t check every box, we encourage you to apply — we hire for slope, judgment, and the will to learn fast.
