Why You Fail

“Until you try, you don’t know what you can’t do.”

(Henry James)

The men who try to do something and fail are infinitely better than those who try to do nothing and succeed. If you don’t try to do something, you are nowhere near to success. If you have tried and yet you failed, then you are much closer to success than if you have not tried anything at all. To fail is a natural consequence of trying. Without trying we never have a shot at succeeding. Defeat is not the worst of failures. That you may fail, is not sufficient reason for not trying. Not to have tried to do something is the true failure. But if you have tried, then why you still fail?

Luke Skywalker: All right, I’ll give it a try.

Yoda: NO. Try not. DO… or do not. There is no try.

Luke Skywalker: I don’t, I don’t believe it.

Yoda: That is why you fail.

Do not try to do something!

Either you DO IT or you DON’T DO IT.

You DON’T TRY to make it happen. You MAKE it happen by DOING it. Nothing will work unless YOU DO. You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Losers let it happen, winners make it happen. Without labor nothing prospers. Some people dream of great accomplishments, while others stay awake and DO them.

Action is the foundational key to all success.

(Pablo Picasso)

If you wish to accomplish something in life, commit to it with your whole heart and banish even thoughts of the possibility of failure. The surest way not to fail is to determine to succeed.
